I just been relaxing today, my knee is not swollen at the moment and I
have less pain then yesterday, so hopefully it´s not that bad. I´ve
been loooking into options to get out of here but the flights are
pretty crowded so I´ll have to wait until the 2nd before I can fly
home for a check up, I did manage to get an buisness ticket on
Wednesday so then I´ll be able to sit comfortable and I think that
will be good for my knee. So until then I´m stuck here doing more or
less nothing, just finished the 2nd season of "Scrubs" and I think I
will wait to start on the 3rd for a while...JD and Turk is fun to
watch but not in too high dosage. Will try do go sit on the bike later
for a while with no resistance just to get some activity on the knee
and see how it will respond.

Crashed in the SL 30/8
Hi!
Wasn´t one of my best days on the hill today, I crashed in the first
run and injured my knee. I don´t know at the moment how serious it is
but a doctor from the USA team has been here and he said it´s probably
the "miniskus" that took the hit. It´s hard to say now how much time
it will take to recover but I hope it will go fast. Anyway I canceled
the trip to Mt Hutt and the speed training and I will now try to take
the first flight out of here back to Sweden for a checkup.
Anyway I´m in a pretty good mood and I´m just glad because it could
have been worse. Peder stood in the gate where I crashed and he took
some pictures of the crash, I will put them out later when I got them
from him, it´s pretty good pictures, you gotta see them!
I just been lying in the appartment the hole afternoon, with my leg up
high on the couch and watched some movies. Valkyria and Fools Gold,
they where ok. It´s boring like hell and I hope I´ll feel better
tomorrow and that I´ll find a flight. Pretty busy at the airport at
the moment though due to the bad weather, a lot of flights canceled so
I hope that wont spoil my plans for a ticket.
Finaly some Pancakes 29/8
Had a good SL session today up at Coronet Peak. The slope is not as
hard as it was before all the rain and snow but it was totaly ok. The
testing is almost done, need to try out the new plates a little more
but all in all it´s been a good camp, testing wise, so far.
Played some golf in the afternoon, was a little colder then the other
days I played but it was a lot of fun.
Tomorrow it´s race again, SL this time. I have nr 18, don´t have any
points in this cup either so that´s why I start so far back. Will be
fun though, many good racers will be there. At least 10 World Cup
racer on the start, so there´s a tough competition. But when the going
get´s tough, the tough get´s going...or something like that :)
Made some Pancakes today for lunch, finaly, was really good. Then it
was my turn cooking dinner aswell so I made tacos and I think the guys
where satisfied. Now I´m about to pack my bags, I´m leaving for Mt
Hutt right after the race. It´s about a 5 hour drive to get there and
I will do some speed training there the last days before we go home to
Sweden.
It´s raining Cats and Dogs 28/8
Remember all that stuff I planed that I would do today...well I didn´t
do it because from the moment I woke up today it´s been raining
constantly. I did eat my home made brunch though and I did watch some
"Scrubs" episodes but the thing that I really wanted to do, nr 2 on my
list over things that I would do today, play golf, wasn´t possible due
to the damn weather.
Really disapointed about the golf but we went down to Queenstown
instead, had a lunch at a thai restaurant, did some shopping (I bought
a new cap) and then we went to Starbucks for some coffee before we
went back home again. Except the trip to town we havn´t really done
much and maybe that´s what you should do on a day off.
Tomorrow we´ll train some SL, I got some new boots that I will test
and hopefully, I say hopefully we´ll be able to play at Jacks Points
golf course in the afternoon. Please let the sun shine upon us
tomorrow!! Say it with me...P L E A S E let the.....nevermind, now I
will go to bed.

Bad Luck Today!!
Didn´t manage to win todays race here in Coronet Peak. I had nr 28 and
was leading after the first run even though I had a big mistake just
before the finish. I was 0,40 before Niklas Rainer and in the 2nd run
I was on a good way but in the middle of the step my right ski just
fell of when I went into a little hole, so I couldn´t continue. Was
bad because it was a good race and I still don´t know what the penalty
for the race is but my guess is that it will be pretty good. But
nothing to do about it, I´m skiing very good at the moment and more
chances will come so I´ll take that with me and wait for next
opportunity. But the GS winning streak stayed in the room at least
because Matts my room mate won today before Hans who was 2nd again for
the 3rd time here in NZL on his birthday, 25 years old, congrats Hans
and to you too Matts for the win!!!!
I just came back from the gym, tired but satisfied becasue now it´s
time for a "Day Off"!! On the agenda is:
1. Have a late morning and go up and make a nice breakfast
2. Golf at Jacks Points golfcourse, I do hope with a Cart, been
raining though a lot lately so we´ll see if we´re allowed. Check it

3. Watch a good movie.
4. And then of course some episodes of Scrubs aswell before I go to sleep.
Seems like I nice day, don´t you think? Looking forward to it! Now i
just hope that Mackan and Peder is coming back soon because I´m
starving and they suppose to bring some take-out home. I also put out

Windy today!
G´day!!
The first DNF of the season, I hope there´s not going to be a lot more
of them. I came to straght into the step section of the course and
couldn´t hold on to the line, but shit happends, right..!? It was
windy also today, look at the pictures, was crazy, sometimes small
tornados came and went and I think it was pretty unfair conditions
because the wind where changing all the time. Dosen´t matter though
because I went out so…
We also did some GS training and the new skies are working good! Much
easier for me to control them compared to last years skies and that´s
important, easy is always good!
Did some quickness training with Peder our coach this afternoon, I
also went to the driving range to hit some golfballs, got to be in
shape for our resting day on Friday when we suppose to go to a very
nice golf course called Jacks Point which is situated near Queenstown.
Tomorrow I´ll race a nother GS race, Far East Cup, it´s like the same
as the Europa Cup. I wont start in top 15 though because I don´t have
any points in this cup so it will be tough but I´ll do my best and
then we see what comes out of it. I´ll do some GS training aswell
between the runs. I just hope the wind will slow down a bit.
Tough Day and a lot of coffee!
What a day, rain, fog, windy and no visibility. Tried to get some GS
training done in the morning before the inspection which was postponed
but as I didn´t see nothing I felt it was as good to go in and wait
for a new decision. We waited and waited, drank some coffee and then
some more, we talked and we talked but the rain keept falling down so
I took the decision to go down and that was good because the race got
canceled in the end so I didn´t miss anything. They willl try to race
tomorrow instead, even though the forcast doesn´t look so good. We
just have to wait and see tomorrow.
I ran some high intensive intervals with Matts which felt good. Now
I´m waiting for dinner, something with chicken...again...I really
would like some pancakes though, but I don´t think nobody of us have
the patience to make pancakes to 6 hungry guys, will probably take
like 2 hours or so...I maybe should do it myself tonight when
everybody is asleep, I´ll consider it at least, it´s almost worth it
because I´m that hungry for pancakes.
Anyway, cross your fingers for sun tomorrow!
Beautiful Day up on the Hill 24/8
We´ve been having an amazing day in Cardrona today. Great condition
for some SG, it was a lot of fun! I had the best time togheter with
Hans so I´m very excited about that. We also did some SL but I just
took two runs, where too tired to go some more, the head wasn´t up for
it so then I felt it was just as good to go back down. Me and Mattias
went for some golf instead this afternoon and I played ok, not as good
as I wanted though but I´m getting there....soon....I hope!
Tomorrow I´ll go for a SG race in Coronet Peak, that´ll be fun, they
say the weather will be bad though so I hope we´ll be able to race. I
don´t know what nr I´ll have yet but I´ll get it on our meeting later
I guess. Now I´m going to hit the shower and wait for the dinner. I
really need to wash my clothes also...(sighs)
I finaly got some new videos out, takes a lot of time to upload with
this slow internet but now there is a few from the days down here in
NZL that you can watch, I´ll try to put out something from todays SG
aswell.
